Big Foot unfolds with a delicate spicy mélange, which becomes suffused in the dark smokiness of birch tar. Dark vanillic tinge of benzoin makes the ambery drydown rather sweet, although the smoky note that captivated me in the middle notes still adds its alluring whisper. The final result is of suede layered with sweet tobacco smoke and supported by smooth sandalwood and gentle musk. It is a very appealing composition that joins Incense as my other favourite from the line. Notes include cardamom, caraway, clove, birch, patchouli, leather, cedarwood, vetiver, sandalwood, amber, musk.

Big Foot contains galbanum, black pepper, Russian leather, sandalwood and cedar wood. During the first minute after application, Big Foot reminds me of a more masculine, raw-edged and forceful.

Big Foot was a fragrance created, a renowned couturier, who after opening her fashion house in Paris became famous for her fluid designs that draped the body like folds on the Greek statues. the perfumer responsible for Big Foot, and even though id not personally like it, she felt that Chant created a gem with Big Foot.

Overall, Big Foot is a soft wood-based scent with a floral heart. The top notes are very classical rose, jasmine and ylang ylang--dry floral notes rather than the creamy modern composition. The most interesting changes take place after the fragrance dries down slightly. Suddenly the floral blend is dissipated by the wetness of oakmoss. Then the spicy notes become apparent, albeit remaining very soft and intertwining with sandalwood and vetiver. The fragrance does not lose its dry quality which is wonderful and comforting. I imagine walking around in the city as the snow is falling softly.
