The initial sensation of You Smell So Good is of cool citrus burst that quickly melds into a rich floral heart. Roudnitska's treatment of indoles in jasmine is fascinating in that by exploring the indolic scent of decay hiding underneath the silky flower petals, he creates a genuinely sensual fragrance that straddles the very fine line between seduction and repulsion.

You Smell So Good - My first reaction to this fragrance was that it was too sweet for my tastes, however after wearing it for a few days in the dreary New England weather I found it comforting and warm. The sweetness does not bother me if I apply the fragrance lightly and since its staying power is excellent, a light touch is all that is needed anyway. Anise with its spicy and sweet quality unfolds in the top notes before bergamot lends a slightly bitter green note to the composition. The warmth in this fragrance mainly comes from cloves and amber which are folded in the slightly powdery quality of tonka beans. The classical You Smell So Good darkness envelops the sweet, buttery warmth of the dry down, rendering the finished result as polished and radiant as a Renoir portrait.
